PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS. 'this is may al time favorite setting powder. I use it for backing and setting my contour. I leave my face matte and smooth all day with not cracking.
I use it for my oily skin it keeps it dry and matte. I will buy this product again and recommend it to others' in 21 reviews. 'makes my skin look so flawless looking, poreless and shine free, its like a matte finish its good for combo skin, i can get dry skin but it doesnt dry my skin out, i would recommened it as its really good and sets make up well even thou its like a powder foundation give it that extra coverage' in 2 reviews. My Holy Grail. As a pale girl it is a very hard to find a product that comes quite so light at NYX's CP02 Ivory.
NYX shadow trios are similar to the Mac special edition palettes that come with three or four shades together. I believe NYX makes 45 different trio palettes alone, not to mention their single and loose shadows. I use this product as a few different things which is part of why you can find one of these in every single purse I own. Ive used this as a light coverage foundation when I have to run out real fast but dont want to look red and shiny. If I brush it lightly across my foundation it helps lock that DOWN. I dont even use setting spray, honestly.
But my favorite way to use this is to wear a nice light to medium BB cream and contour my face with this. I load up a brush and dab it heavily under the eyes and dont even need concealer! Adore this product despite how hard it can be to find my shade in stores.
I've been using this twin cake to set up my liquid foundation and it always end up making my face look cakey. Though i only dab a little bit of the product with powder brush, using sponge will only make it more cakey-er. I've tried to use it alone but it completely make my skin look so dry and it leaves visible dry patch here and there, also cakey. I have very oily skin and it doesn't keep the oil at bay. I'm looking for a matte powder foundation but this one really turns me down. The only good thing about it is that it didn't cause any break out to my skin (i'm prone to acne).
We are back with the DUPES! It gives me great pleasure to find an inexpensive product that compares to a high-end one!
Mac Sable Dupe Nyx

Details: Both of these cream illuminators provide a beautiful sheen and glow either by applying to the face before foundation or mixing it in. IMO (In My Opinion): These are definitely different formulas and I like them both! MAC Strobe cream is more moisturizing and looks more natural (it is also thicker), while the L’Oreal version is very “glowy” and a thinner type of primer formula (sans silicone). Strobe Cream comes in a travel size if you want to try it without buying the larger product first! Details: These are both beautiful purple shades of liquid lipstick that dry down to a matte finish.
IMO: I would go for the DUPE! NYX killed it with this formula. It is feather light and not drying at all.
Now, the Kylie Cosmetic liquid lipsticks are quite drying IMO AND this shade is always sold out on her site. Get the dupe! Details: These products are lip toppers that provide a sparkly and glossy finish to your lips! IMO: If you wanna go all out GLAM, get the Jouer lip topper. Its the perfect NYE lip gloss! I like the L’Oreal gloss for an everyday glossy lip. That’s why it made it on my vs.
Details: Both are makeup sponges ideal for foundation and applying powder for the. IMO: I haven’t had the pleasure of trying either of these, BUT a few of the “Beauty Gurus” I watch just love the Vera Mona Sephora version. If you are watching your coin a little, try the dupe! Details: These are highly pigmented lipsticks that come in a wacky shade range from wearable nudes all the way to teal, yellow and black!
IMO: I haven’t heard great things about the J.Cat Beauty version and I don’t play when it comes to lip products – I want quality! Go for the OCC version! Details: The Bite Beauty Lip Mask is a cult favorite, but they are both thick petroleum-like long-lasting lip mask for hydration. IMO: I have had the Bite Beauty lip mask for a while and I think it is too hyped up for no particular reason.
Dupes For Mac Blush
If you like the consistency of that one, the nooni version is exactly the same. Go for the DUPE! Details: Both of these are gradient highlighter to blush products. IMO: I haven’t tried either of these, but I would not spend $58 on a product like this. I’m more likely to try the dupe! Details: These are highly pigmented lip glosses that retain a long-lasting high shine. IMO: I have both of these and LOVE both of these.
The glossy high-shine of the product lasts much longer with the Too Faced version. Too Faced also has a wider selection of shades. On the other side, the Maybelline Vivid Hot Lacquer is more comfortable to wear. The color outlasts the glossy high-shine. I’m on the fence – both are really great.
If it is $$ you are concerned about, get the Dupe! Details: These are both cream bronzers.
IMO: I really have to contemplate spending $50 on any one makeup product regardless of the hype. BUT, I’m really picky with bronzer and the Makeup Revolution version looks to be a bit dry.
I haven’t tried either of these out, but I definitely wouldn’t want to spend $50 on Chanel’s version right now. If you try the dupe, let me know how it is! Details: Both of these lipstick products are metallic liquid lipsticks! IMO: I like both of these formulas a lot, but for the price you cannot go wrong with Wet n Wild’s Liquid Catsuit lipsticks. Their formula is so comfortable, pigmented and long lasting.
